We know leaving your cat in someone else’s care can come with plenty of “what if” worries—especially when it comes to emergencies. What happens if your cat gets sick? What if there’s a medical issue or an unexpected situation at home? At Woof and Meow, we take these concerns seriously. Our approach to emergencies is simple: stay calm, act quickly, and keep you fully informed.

Prepared for the Unexpected

We’re not just showing up to feed your cat and leave; we’re ready for anything. Before your first visit, we’ll ask for detailed instructions, including your vet’s contact information, any health issues your cat might have, and how you’d like us to handle different scenarios. This prep work means we’re never scrambling for answers in a critical moment.

For medical emergencies, we’re prepared to take your cat to your preferred vet or an emergency clinic immediately. And if there’s something unusual—like your cat refusing food or showing strange behavior—you’ll hear from us right away, so you’re always in the loop.

A Calm and Experienced Approach

Emergencies are stressful enough without panicking. With years of experience caring for cats, we’ve seen it all and know how to handle unexpected situations with care and composure. Whether it’s noticing a change in your cat’s routine, responding to a sudden health concern, or addressing a household issue, you can trust us to act responsibly and keep your cat safe.

Communication You Can Count On

In any situation, communication is key. We’ll keep you updated throughout each visit with notes or videos, so you’ll know if something is off right away. If an emergency does arise, you can expect a quick call to discuss next steps. Transparency is part of what makes us different—you’ll never be left wondering what’s going on.
